The third edition of the Salon for mayors, local officials and public decision makers in Guadeloupe took place on 22 and 23 June at the CWTC in Jarry.
The event is becoming a not-to-be-missed annual occurrence, bringing together public stakeholders with those engaged in the economic development of the territory.
The digital world was in focus this year, with the theme “The Digital Transition and Cybersecurity”. The Salon also provided the forum for the first convention dedicated to overseas payment terms.
The event united a range of participants: local officials, special advisors, delegates, the prefecture, the region etc., all involved in round tables, debates, focus groups, presentations and testimonials.
The CARO Centre was represented on the first day by Solène Balaguette, legal expert, and on the second day by Marie-Camille Pitton, secretary general.
This participation provided the opportunity for the CARO Centre to:
- renew its commitment to the public and economic stakeholders in the region;
- encounter the public;
- promote the objective of legal security;
- present the innovative and tailor-made services offered by the CARO Centre (arbitration, mediation, facilitation and assessment);
- position the CARO Centre as a supporter and institutional partner at the local, territorial, Caribbean and international level.
