The CARO Centre participates in the Team France Export Caribbean-Guyana International Meetings

The CARO Centre was present at the latest Team France Export Caribbean-Guyana International Meetings, held on 18-20 April.

The International Meetings were organised jointly by the Guadeloupe Islands CCI (CCIIG), lead partner of the OHADAC project, the Martinique CCI, the Guyana CCI, Business France and the BPI.

The International Meetings are unique days dedicated to stakeholders in international business, import and export. They provide an opportunity to highlight export tips and systems (developing and enlarging networks, discovering markets etc.) on the themes of sourcing, solutions for banking, logistics and transport, focusing on Europe, the Caribbean, the Americas, Africa and Asia.

TEAM FRANCE EXPORT is dedicated to the success of French companies on the international stage. Supported by Business France, the Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Bpifrance, Team France Export creates synergies between the expertise of its founders and links public and private operator knowledge with export assistance. With international advisors present in the region and abroad, and thanks to the resources available on its website (TeamFrance-Export.fr), every company regardless of sector and size is able to find relevant solutions and appropriate contacts to initiate, support or develop its international business. Team France Export brings together all of the public solutions offered by the regions, the State, Business France, the Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Bpifrance, helping French companies do business on the international stage.

The CARO Centre presented the workshop “Ensuring the legal security of your international business”.

This workshop took the form of an interactive presentation followed by B2B meetings during which company managers and project sponsors received key facts about legal security and how to better prepare for export.

The workshop was led by Raissa Goubin-Kern, International Advisor from CCI IG - TEAM FRANCE EXPORT GUADELOUPE and Solène Balaguette, CARO Centre legal expert.

Solène Balaguette first highlighted the legal challenges encountered by companies when they wish to expand their activities to the international scene (international contracts, linguistic challenges, diversity of legal systems) and how the CARO Centre, together with its unique network of experts, offers tailor-made solutions to secure the export process. She then presented the different types of CARO services (facilitation, assessment, mediation and arbitration), which can be used to secure projects and contracts in a local, regional and international context.
